My Father’s World First Grade–Week 14

Measuring Game

Today in math we started to learn about measuring. Anabel was super excited about this because she loves to pretend to measure things, so learning how to really do it was right up her ally.

I love this first grade math book that My Father’s World is having me use. It’s very hands on and not just work pages. With this game I took the game board out of the book, backed it with some card stock and then put a laminated sheet over it. I did the same with the game cards.

The game was a big hit for the girls.

Then today Anabel also finished up her first page in the Bible Note Book. She drew naked Adam and Eve, some bugs and a dinosaur hehe. Yes her Adam kinda looks more like a hippie Sponge Bob hehe.
