Curriculum Ordered

Above is the order of My Father's World 2nd grade curriculum i ordered. I'm so excited to be teaching about early america and having these great story books to read to the kids! Only thing i didn't order yet for Anabel is the math books. They have her do a placement test to see where in math she needs to be and since she isn't done with 1st grade yet i wasn't going to have her do that quite yet.

Above is the extra curriculum i order through Amazon. I'm getting a TOOB of North American animals and a set of Indian toys. The tp and wagon there is actually a kit where you put them together. Those two were a $2.99 ad on item so i couldn't resist not getting them. It says the tp stands 12 inches tall. The My Father's world deluxe package had a magnet set with it but this magnet set i bought on Amazon was actually cheaper and had more items in it so i picked it instead. I bought nice watercolor paints on Amazon. They are much better then our cheap crayola paints or at least they should be. I bought the girls new brushes and mixed media art journals at walmart since they were cheaper then the ones on Amazon and book had more pages and the brushes looked just as nice.

Now i have the basic curriculum for first grade but i needed to order Abby a new math book and i will need to order her the english book through the My Father's World website when i order Anabel's math books.

I'm very excited! Now just to get done with this year :)

I am so excited about the upcoming school year. It should be so much fun! I'm looking forward with it. Looking forward to the art lessons and the crafts with the new period craft books i'm ordering!
