Kk Kangaroo Day 3

Day 3 – Kk Kangaroo 

First day of learning fractions. She loved it!

Our art inspiration:

This was a big teaching moment. I had to guild them and teach them a ton. I say this just so you know my 3 and & 4 year old didn’t do this all on their own lol I had to teach them and show them how to use the paint because it was very different then the acrylic paint they usually use. I made this paint from something i found on pinterest and modified it and used koolaid as the colorant.
I think they learned a lot and had fun doing it. Tomorrow we will ad the kangaroos which i think we will attempt to stamp them on lol.

I had picked up some ‘First Grade Geometric Shapes’ at the Dollar Tree a while back and was excited when i got the bright idea to use them to further teach her fractions. Today was the first day that the My Father’s World Kindergarten curriculum started fractions. I didn’t feel like they explained it to well and it was rather short so after doing that math page i decided to try and further teach her. With this activity she seemed to really start getting it.
