Uu Us - Sight

Today’s sense was ‘sight’. They really loved this activity from the Tabb BODY LANGUAGE - A BALANCED LITERACY UNIT. We gathered up the needed items and then they looked through a magnifying glass to see them up close. Then they were to draw what they saw.

I am most surprised with Abby’s page because I thought she drew more details 

Then Anabel learned how the ‘or’ sound changes when you add a ‘w’ to it.

Left: this exercise I tell Abby the word we are going to spell, she sounds it out and figures out which letter needs to go first and last.
Right: this was her word list. A list of words that she has to sound out and read 


What  I share on here is usually just a portion of what we do everyday, it’s the things I manage to take pictures of. We usually do a lot more along with these things, like memory verse memorizing, bible reading, book reading, anabel reads books herself for practicing what she has learned so far ect.
