Items I'm Excited About
I have been preparing for the next school year. The surprise of being pregnant and then having my forth baby has really set us back for how i hoped this last school year would go. We still have a lot to do before we are ready to start the next school year but since we currently have the means to buy the curriculum i thought i should go ahead and start preparing and buying what i will need.
I am very excited about ordering some Dover education coloring books and the activity books. My kids LOVE to color and these books not only offer close to real life images but also offer educational information about each picture. I had order one for the human body unit but didn't realize it was a Dover book and that Dover offered a book on pretty much every subject i needed. I love my human body Dover book by the way!
Above is some of the items i'm ordering for the 1st grade. I'm super excited i found this 'Old Testament Days' book that will in a look into the world back then and give us period time crafts to do!
Also these Dover books i intend to use on:
Week 1 - Worms, Moles, Snails, Ants & Mushrooms
Weeks 3 & 4 - Flowers
Week 6 - Trees
Week 13 & 15 - Solar System
Week 29 - Plants
I also am getting some that are not pictured here that i already ordered.
